STOLEN
ORNAMENTAL GARDEN WISHING WELL &
TWO 'MEERKAT' ORNAMENTS

ADDED 7 APRIL 2012

We often hear of injustice in the modern world of today, when murderers and rapists walk away with little more than a slap on the wrist, and we are powerless to do anything about it, except bemoan our inadequate justice system. I am more concerned however, with the small injustices that occur every day in our society, yet are largely overlooked.

A few nights ago, some low life individuals stole an ornamental Wishing Well and a couple of 'Meerkat' garden ornaments from the garden of two pensioners here in Knottingley. These people must have had some form of transport to move these items, as they would have been quite heavy. They must also have been experienced in creeping around in the dead of night, because the occupants of this bungalow have a dog, and even the dog didn't hear them!

Garden ornaments don't come cheap, and these things would have been carefully saved for by these two elderly people, and I am so angry to think that someone thinks they have the right to simply come along and steal them!  They are totally without morals, or conscience, and they deserve nothing but contempt!

"A very irate and disgruntled neighbour."
